Precast trusses are prestressed concrete elements that form the load-bearing system of duo-pitch roofs. Seated on column heads in large-volume buildings such as factories and warehouses, they span long distances without intermediate columns, carrying purlins and roof panels.
Why concrete trusses?
- Fire resistance: concrete trusses keep their load-bearing capacity in a fire far longer than steel roof systems.
- Maintenance-free: no painting or corrosion protection needed; durable in humid and aggressive environments.
- Fast installation: factory-made, numbered trusses are lifted into place by mobile crane within days.
Production and installation
Trusses are produced with C45/55 concrete, prestressing strands and steam curing. Dimensions and reinforcement follow the structural design; our transport and installation crews complete erection including the column-head connections.
